Bankfoot House Family Living Quarters 1878

This here is the Original Family Living Quarters for Bankfoot House built in 1878, with the later Cob’n’Co Accommodation House then constructed several meters in front connected by a small Covered walkway. The House was eventually renovated in the early 20th century to what it is today, this is the Original house as it was, Minus the two Water tanks.

This model was modeled for a Project however due to time restraints I was not able to texture the Water tanks and Guttering or the Connecting Walkway. Bankfoot house is located up near the Glasshouse Mountains in Northern Queensland. The site featured a small Dairy, Meat house, Cob’n’Co Accommodation, Stables for the horse Change over’s and a Post office.

The model features sliding windows, hinged doors on their pivots, and a complete downstairs interior, Minus the stairs, as the location could not be determined. Photos gathered were used as reference even when piecing back together back in time, Certain refernce Drawings which even included a couple of drawings relating to conserving the current version of the structure, were referenced for identifying between the extension's of the wall layouts, and with cross checking between reference photos, to recreate and back-track the architecture.
This Was part of a Model set produced for the Virtual Songlines Project.
