This here is the Accommodation House for Bankfoot House built in 1868, and was built as a stay overnight bed and breakfast for the COB’n’Co. And was located infront of the Main Residence via a Small covered walkway. The building fell into disrepair for some years after the Cob’n’Co service and Post-office was discontinued and eventually pulled down and its timber was reused when the Main residence was renovated during the early 20th century.
This model was modeled for a Project however due to time restraints I was not able to finish the interior. Bankfoot house is located up near the Glasshouse Mountains in Northern Queensland. The site featured a small Dairy, Meat house, Cob’n’Co Accommodation, Stables for the horse Change over’s and a Post office. The model features sliding windows, hinged doors on their pivots, Photos, Drawings, were used and photo’s of a Scale model were used as reference.
